Homemade Pizza

If you're like me, deciding what to prepare for the boys for lunch or what to make for dinner after a long day at work is a nightmare and giving them variety is even worst.

For me, pizza is that one choice that I know they would love and is also very simple for the days when you don't have much time for the kitchen.

I’ll share with you my family's recipe for homemade pizza that is better and more comforting than the fast food restaurants.

Ingredients
3 cups flour
1 tablespoon yeast
¼ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
¼ cup oil
¼ cup tomato sauce
¼ ketchup
3 tablespoons oregano
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella
1 cup each of your desired toppings

Directions
Knead flour, yeast, salt, sugar and oil to form a dough, oil and set aside for half an hour.

On a greased baking sheet, flatten dough until its about 1 inch.
Mix tomato sauce and ketchup together and spread on the flatten dough evenly

Sprinkle your cheese (mozzarella and cheddar) if you desire or you can also sprinkle it on the top after your have placed all your toppings.

Evenly distribute topping and top is off with the oregano and a sprinkle of salt and sugar.

Bake for 30 to 45 mins until the crust is golden brown. Cut into desired pieces and serve.
